It’s a long flight from Arizona to Japan, but having dad to fall asleep on makes for smoother sailing. Our transpacific T+L Kids correspondent Mackenzie heads to Japan, where rather than staying in a hotel, she experiences a homestay with a local family and assures us this is the best way to get to know the culture, and make new friends.
