Dive into the best hotel pool, Park Hyatt Bangkok in the Land of Smiles.
SINCE OPENING ITS LUXURIOUSLY contemporary doors in the heart of the Thai capital in 2017, Park Hyatt Bangkok has been a destination for refined visitors — as well as discerning locals who stop in for sky-high socialising at The Living Room, The Bar, The Penthouse Bar + Grill or Embassy Room – Catalan Cuisine.
Now, with the announcement of the hotel’s two prestigious awards from Travel + Leisure’s Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023 for Thailand’s Best Hotel Pool and the country’s third Best City Hotels, the property’s profile continues to rise, securing its spot as an inspiration of modern hotel design and a tranquil oasis above bustling Bangkok.
In the heart of Siam district’s world-class shopping and featuring direct access to the city’s best luxury retail hub, Central Embassy, Park Hyatt Bangkok’s 222 rooms and suites boast stunning city views from floor-to-ceiling windows alongside bespoke luxuries and personal service.
The hotel’s design is a subtly magnificent confluence of influences — always with an accent on luxurious indulgence.
The hotel and neighbouring high-end retail complex are linked by a fascinating perpetual loop motif, seamlessly blending the mall’s base and hotel’s tower. A twisted coil forms a three-dimensional figure eight, nodding to infinity and the most auspicious number in Chinese culture.
Two outsized art installations inside the hotel further the dazzling homage to Asian culture. Both by iconic Japanese artist Hirotoshi Sawada, Pagoda Mirage features suspended copper swirls crafted to recall a pagoda’s reflection on water, while Naga creatively captures the spirit of the mythical Thai water dragon using ceiling-suspended batons.
“We found the perfect interior for Park Hyatt Bangkok is when all the parts — the lighting, materials, space, texture — work as a whole and you get this sense of calmness, of sensuality,” said designer and co-founder of New York-based Yabu Pushelberg, Glenn Pushelberg.
Drawing on patterns from traditional Thai architecture, the façade is tiled in shimmering aluminium, providing an undulating and nearly alive appearance dotted with several outdoor spaces for enjoying the city views — and, of course, its award-winning pool.
Guests adore lounging in the stunning 40m saltwater pool or on the leafy terrace of an oasis perched high above Bangkok. A calming centre for verdant relaxation, visitors can while away tropical city afternoons on sun loungers and under cabanas, lending a resort-like vibe with breathtaking city views.
Adding to the best-in-class amenities, the terrace also features an infinity edge lap pool for indulgent exercise sessions.
Rounding out the stellar offerings of Park Hyatt Bangkok is a collection of thoughtfully curated touches, exceptional food and wine and a deep commitment to delivering distinctively Thai experiences.
